Challenge
Plan/execute communications strategy to launch new set of online tools that allow managers to enter HR transactions directly into HR systems, thereby: saving time for managers and HR reps; reducing paper; and increasing efficiencies in business processes.

Approach
Change communications strategy was planned and executed to generate excitement and curiosity around the new tools; encourage autonomy in HR transactions; and encourage adoption upon launch.

Outcome 
  • Targeted e-mail campaign, meetings and "sneak peeks" were conducted to market benefits of the new system/process to managers.
  • Focus groups were conducted to ensure intuitiveness and overall ease of use could negate need for formal training.
  • "Training" tools were developed, including FAQs, fact sheets and quick user guides, to let managers become comfortable with the system's ease of use.   
  • Webinars were conducted to officially launch the new tools, and to demonstrate the system and tools to managers.
